RADIOLOGY – SARASOTA OFFICIALLY OPENS!
SARASOTA, Florida,
September 7, 2004 - Rose Radiology is proud to announce the official
opening of our fourth first class Radiology office in Sarasota.
This new facility is located in CLARK ROAD MEDICAL PARK
and is conveniently located at 4917 Clark Road in the heart of Sarasota
County. Clark Road Medical Park is a complex of individual medical
practices with an outpatient Surgery Center, Orthopedic practices,
and other physician practices, as well as the Sarasota Memorial
Hospitals Center of Sports Medicine and Wellness.
Rose
Radiology-Sarasota is a full service facility featuring
TruScan Upright MRI, the most open and most comfortable MRI in the
world. Rose Radiology was the first to bring this new technology
to the state of Florida and is the first to offer this new technology
to Sarasota residents and the Southern Tampa Bay region. In addition,
Rose Radiology offers the newest and most advanced 16 multi-detector
CAT Scanner as well as offering Radiological Intervention, Mammography,
Ultrasound and traditional X-Rays. The Center is now fully operational
and staffed with a full time Board Certified Radiologist. The State-of-the-Art
facility is fully computerized with RIS (Radiology Information Systems)
and PACS (Picture Archiving and Communication Systems).
Rose
Radiology-Sarasota is owned and managed by a board certified
radiologist, Dr. Manuel Rose, who founded the Center with the philosophy
that Radiologists should be in charge of managing patient care at
MRI/radiology centers. Dr. Rose says, “We have been planning
for a state-of-the-art facility in Sarasota for a long
time and we are now officially open. I believe Sarasota had a significant
need for a Radiology Center with Upright MRI technology that is
managed and staffed by Radiologists, and that need has finally been
filled.” Dr. Rose continues, “we have brought the first
Upright Open MRI to Sarasota and now patients in the Southern counties
of Tampa Bay do not need to travel to other offices in Pinellas
and Hillsborough Counties to get the benefits of Upright Open MRI
Imaging.” Dr. Rose who has personally interpreted more Upright
MRI cases than any other radiologist in the world adds, “I
believe this new Upright MRI technology will benefit many patients
with Spinal pain that is worse seated or standing, and will help
better diagnose patients with persistent pain after surgery.”
The Center is currently open Monday-Friday from 8 AM to 5 PM with
evening and Saturday appointments available upon request.
