DR.
ROSE IS GUEST SPEAKER AT THE FLORIDA RADIOLOGICAL SOCIETY'S ANNUAL
MEETING
PALM
HARBOR, FLORIDA, July 21, 2004 - Dr. Rose spoke on the “The
Value of Erect Spinal MR” at the Annual
Meeting of the Florida Radiological Society. The meeting was held
at the Marriott Harbor Beach Resort and Spa in Ft. Lauderdale from
July 8th-11th, 2004. Dr. Rose’s presentation showcased many
of the cases he has accumulated over the last couple of years, where
Erect Spinal MRI has made a difference on patient care and management.
His presentation was well received by the Society and those who
attended.
Dr.
Rose says, “I have accumulated more experience in Erect
Spinal MRI than any other radiologist, and I have valuable cases
and knowledge to share with my professional colleagues. I have concluded
that there is clearly value to Erect Spinal MR Imaging and this
value is increased with regard to the post-surgical spine.”
Dr.
Rose continues, “We have patients referred to us by Spine
Specialists and Surgeons from academic Centers, looking to find
the right Diagnosis that is not explained by traditional MRI’s.
This is great for patients and my practice, but I believe that academic
institutions need this technology so that formal research can be
done.”
Rose Radiology
invested in the first TruScan Upright MRI in Florida and currently
has been operating two such machines in the Tampa Bay market, with
a third scheduled to be open in Sarasota next month. Rose Radiology
is the only radiology practice in Tampa Bay operating TruScan technology,
and the only practice in the world where an ultra-fast traditional
Cardiovascular MRI compliments this new technology. Dr. Rose and
his group have acquired tremendous experience in this new MRI technology
and with time hope to learn much more.
