WELCOMES THIRD BOARD CERTIFIED RADIOLOGIST
PALM HARBOR,
FLORIDA, May 17, 2004 – Rose Radiology Centers, Inc. is pleased
to announce that William D. Foxworthy, M.D.
has joined the practice of Rose Radiology and Diagnostic Radiology
Specialists, PA as a Staff Radiologist. Dr. Foxworthy brings superior
skills and credentials and is an excellent compliment to the existing
professional staff. He is Board Certified by the American Board
of Radiology. He is skilled in all aspects of Diagnostic Imaging
including CT, mammography and ultrasound and has special expertise
in MRI and Musculoskeletal Radiology. He will be a Medical Director
and the on-site Radiologist at Rose Radiology-Sarasota (our newest
and most advanced center) in August 2004.
Dr. Foxworthy
is originally from Bradenton, Florida where he grew up and he later
attended the University of Central Florida in Orlando, FL where
he received his Bachelor of Science degree in Pre-Medical Education
in 1990 majoring in both Biology and Psychology. Following College,
he completed his formal medical training at the University of Miami
School of Medicine where he received his Doctor of Medicine degree
in 1994.
Dr. Foxworthy
spent five years in Internship and Residency at Baptist Hospital
Health Systems (University of Alabama) in Birmingham AL and graduated
from the Diagnostic Radiology Program in 1999. He completed an additional
year in a formal Musculoskeletal Fellowship (University of Alabama)
in Birmingham and graduated in June 2000.
Dr. Foxworthy
has worked in different capacities in private practice since his
fellowship training before finally joining the professional staff
at Rose Radiology in May 2004. He is active in many state and national
medical societies and his goal is to provide superior and accurate
Radiology interpretations and procedures for Rose Radiology in an
outpatient setting. He strives for cost-efficient, timely, and personalized
service and encourages communication with referring colleagues.
