ROSE
RADIOLOGY SARASOTA RECEIVES ACR ACCREDITATION
Sarasota,
Florida, April 19, 2005 – Rose Radiology Centers, Inc. (RRC)
announces that Rose Radiology - Sarasota has quickly and easily
received MRI accreditation from the American College of Radiology.
The accreditation is received because of the excellent image quality
of the Tru-Scan Upright Open MRI located in Sarasota. The process
started about three months ago and quickly went through the experts
at the American College of Radiology for image review, and this
past week Rose Radiology - Sarasota received formal accreditation
from the American College of Radiology.
The accreditation
process, although not required, is part of Rose Radiology Center’s
protocol and is a commitment to image quality. As of this date,
Rose Radiology Centers is the only upright open MRI scanner in the
entire Tampa Bay region that has received full accreditation for
all of its upright open MRI units. This fact further supports Rose
Radiology’s dedication to quality medical imaging.
Rose Radiology - Sarasota
is equipped with all brand new state of the art diagnostic equipment,
including a new multi-detector cat scanner, and is staffed by board
certified radiologists, making the accreditation process relatively
easy for RRC, given the level of dedication at its centers.
The ACR, headquartered
in Reston, Virginia, awards accreditation to MRI facilities for
the achievement of high practice standards and image quality. This
is done after a peer review evaluation of its MRI images.
