ROSE
RADIOLOGY ANNOUNCES PLANS FOR NEW SARASOTA CENTER
SARASOTA, FLORIDA,
April 5, 2004 – Rose Radiology is proud to announce the opening
of our fourth state-of-the-art radiology facility, which will be
located at 4917 Clark Road in Sarasota, Florida. Our newest facility
will include the FONAR Stand-Up™ MRI, 16-Slice CT, X-Ray,
Mammography, PET, C-Arm fluoroscopy and Ultrasound.
Rose Radiology
is unlike any other radiology center because we offer the latest
in imaging technology. The Stand-up MRI is the only MRI in the country
capable of imaging patients in multiple positions, including sitting,
standing, flexion or extension. This technology allows us to scan
patients in their position of pain. With nothing over the patient’s
head or face, the unique design of the Stand-Up MRI is by far the
most non-claustrophobic MRI on the market.
Dr. Manuel
S. Rose, who is Medical Director of Rose Radiology, stated “The
new Sarasota center will be the most advanced radiology center on
the West Coast of Florida, with the Stand-Up MRI being its most
revolutionary component. This will be a full modality, state of
the art Center.” Operating at 0.6 Tesla the Stand-Up MRI is
one of the most powerful open MRI’s available today.
Ground breaking
for the center is scheduled to begin in early May and Rose Radiology
is expecting completion of the project in August of 2004. |
