RADIOLOGY - BOOT RANCH RECEIVES ACR ACCREDITATION
PALM HARBOR,
FLORIDA, January 30, 2003 - Rose Radiology Centers, Inc. announced
today that Rose Radiology - Boot Ranch/The Imaging Center at Boot
Ranch, has received MRI accreditation by the American College of
Radiology.
Dr. Rose, who is owner
and medical director of Rose Radiology Centers says "As a board
certified radiologist and a member of the American College of Radiology,
it is important that all of my centers complete and pass the accreditation
process by the ACR. The ACR accreditation reflects my personal commitment
to quality in addition to the fact that all of our centers contain
brand-new, state-of-the-art equipment, making it relatively easy
to pass the ACR credentialing process.”
The ACR Headquarters
in Reston, Virginia, awards accreditation to facilities for the
achievement of high practice standards after a peer review evaluation
of its practice. Evaluations are conducted by board certified radiologists
and medical physicists who are experts in the field. They assess
the qualifications of the personnel and the adequacy of the facility
equipment. The surveyors report their findings to the ACR's committee
on accreditation, which subsequently provides the practice with
a comprehensive report.
The ACR is a national
organization serving more than 32,000 diagnostic/interventional
radiologists, radiation oncologists and medical physicists with
programs focusing on comprehensive health care services. Dr. Rose
and Rose Radiology Centers is one of the minority radiology centers
in the country that is actually fully managed by a board certified
radiologist.
